There are a number of excellent restaurants in the wider Dunedin area that are worthy of a visit. They all serve an excellent meal and have some great wines to go with them. If you take the Big Limo you eliminate the need for a sober driver and also the need to take up more than one car.

Some of the restaurants we have taken guests to and recommend are:

• Fleur’s Place at Moeraki – just over an hour’s drive
• Garvan Boutique Hotel and Restaurant – between Milton and Balclutha – about an hour’s drive
• Lake Waihola Cafe and Bar – 40 min drive
• Rosebank Lodge at Balclutha – just over an hours drive
• Kaka Point Bar and Café at Kaka Point – about an hour and a quarter away
• Lawrence Tavern at Lawrence – just over an hour’s drive
• The Loan and Merc - in the historic precinct of Oamaru,  an hour and a half’s drive
• Crafty Riverstone - about 15 mins north of Oamaru
