Wine Trails
For the serious wine connoisseurs, we are pleased to announce the introduction of a wine tour departing from Dunedin. Let us take you away for a day, or for the weekend, to enjoy great wines for yourself, along with some fine food and great company.
We will explore the much talked about Central Otago region, which has some of the finest wines produced in New Zealand. While most of the major acclaim has been reserved for the Pinot Noir that is produced here, other wines such as Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Methode Traditionalle are equally as impressive.
We will take in vineyards from three of the five major sub areas in Central Otago for our one-day tour – Alexandra, Cromwell, and Bannockburn, and for the two-day tour we also include the Gibbston Valley and then go to Wanaka via the Crown Range to sample the fantastic views of the Wakatipu Basin.
